BRAVO! VSO Annual Symphony Gala

On Thursday, February 6, 2020, Honorary Gala Committee Chair, Sony Rego, will join Maestro Peter Dabrowski and the Valley Symphony Orchestra's Board of Directors in welcoming more than 500 guests to the "BRAVO! VSO Annual Symphony Gala" event. Guests will enjoy a gourmet meal followed by a command performance showcasing spectacular duet performances of dazzling repertoire by world-class musicians at the McAllen Convention Center Ballroom.

BRAVO! VSO will feature a one-night-only command performance by Brendan and Shoko Kinsella, a husband-and-wife piano team, and Daniel and Yuri Saenz, a husband-and-wife cellist and vocalist. These two duos will perform a program of chamber and opera selections, including Darius Milhaud’s “Brasileira,” Brahms’ Hungarian Dance No. 1, and The Queen of the Night aria from Mozart’s The Magic Flute. The evening will also feature a bucket auction of luxury items, a gourmet dinner with white glove service, and the presentation of the 2020 Cultural Leaders of the Year award.

Dr. Joseph and Suzanne McDonald will be honored as the 2020 Cultural Leaders of the Year. The funds raised during this elegant evening will allow the continuation of live performances by one of the most exciting orchestras in the United States – the Valley Symphony Orchestra.
